The Starling Tab-Tension CLR® 5 features an ultra-short throw front projection Ceiling Light Rejecting® (CLR®) surface in a sleek motorized modern design. Its tab-tension system ensures a flat and taut projection surface that produces exceptional, ripple-free images. The StarBright CLR® 5 (SBCLR® 5) absorbs overhead light to prevent the washout effect commonly experienced with conventional matte white materials.

It includes a pair of wall brackets for a flush wall/ceiling installation along with a pair of eye-bolt screws that attach to the top of the case for a suspended ceiling installation.

The SWIFT-RC1® control system includes wired/wireless 12-volt trigger capability, IR/RF remote controls, and a detachable wall box controller switch for up/down/stop operation.

Screen Material

• StarBright CLR® 5 (SBCLR® 5) Ceiling Light Rejecting front projection material absorbs 80% of overhead light
• Formulated for use with Ultra-short Throw (UST) tabletop/bottom mounted projectors (NOT compatible with short or standard throw projectors)
• Lenticular sawtooth micro-structure filters out ambient light for superior image brightness and contrast
• Reflective and absorbent layers optimize projector performance in moderate ambient light room environments
• Wide diffusion uniformity allows viewers to see a clear bright uniform picture from any angle
• Improves black levels in bright and dark room environments
• Reflective layer eliminates light scatter and concentrates projected light back into viewer’s field of vision
• Black backing prevents picture degradation while enhancing image brightness for sharper presentations

• Available in the following range of diagonal sizes: 126″, 138″, 140″, 150″ and 152″ in 16:9 aspect ratio

Design and Installation

• Flush wall/ceiling mounts permit wood stud installation and allow screen to slide horizontally for proper centering
• Tab-tension design helps maintain a flat, taut, and ripple-free projection surface
• Project from a short distance without shadowing the picture

• Plug & Play design with built-in low voltage control system, no hardwire installation required

Control System: SWIFT-RC1®

• Includes handheld Infrared (IR) and Radio Frequency (RF) remote controls, and a wall box controller for manual on-wall operation.
• User-friendly programmable vertical drop position for easy installation
• Wall box controller is detachable for a clean look while maintaining RF & IR functionality
• Built-in selectable channels allow one RF remote programming to control multiple screens and prevent interference
• 12v trigger feature allows the screen’s UP/DOWN operation to synchronize with the projector’s power cycle
